LONGi BESS: Integrated Storage for Utility-Scale Projects

LONGi introduces its latest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a capacity of 6.25 MWh, developed to address utility-scale energy storage requirements. The system prioritizes safety and reliability while offering installation flexibility. It can be installed side-by-side and back-to-back, which contributes to advantages in Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) and efficient land use. The LONGi BESS is a modular system, allowing for customization based on specific technical characteristics and client requirements. Safety is enhanced through three integrated battery management system (BMS) controls, designed to predict and mitigate potential fire issues. The system features an IP55 protection class and is rated C4/C5, indicating its suitability for various environmental conditions.

Hi-MO 9 PV Module: Advancing Performance and Durability

LONGi's Hi-MO 9 version two PV module features 66 cells and achieves an efficiency of 24.8% with a power output of up to 670 watts. This performance is supported by back contact technology, which positions all active cell areas under sunlight by eliminating grids and busbars from the front surface, leading to higher power conversion. The module maintains standard dimensions for installation compatibility and offers low degradation, with an initial degradation of 1% and subsequent annual degradation of -0.35%. Durability is further enhanced by a patented Tire wafer, the substrate of the PV cell, which increases mechanical robustness by up to 16%.

"And this permit to have higher efficiency, higher power conversion." Risita · LONGi Europe · 02:41

Hello everyone. My name is Micky Risita, Product Solution Manager for Italy country for Longi, and welcome to our Longi booth. Today, I would like to start talking about our latest, best solution, Longi BESS, and this is our latest product, 6.25 megawatt hours. It's a very safe and reliable product, easy to install. We can install this product side by side and back to back. This permit to have a great advantage in terms of LCOE and save of land. It's a modular system, easy to install and very, very, very safe. We have three battery management system control, which permit to predict any kind of fire issues. Other features regarding our product is IP55 as a protection class and C4, C5 class. And as you can see, it's a modular system, so it depends on the technical characteristics and technical requirements of our client. We can find the right solution for our customer. So now, let's move on to talk about our PV modules. So now, let's talk about our PV module, Hi-MO 9 version two, 66 cells with the highest efficiency in the market, 24.8% with a power up to 670 watts. As you can see here, the back contact technology permit to have all the cell on the upside without the grids, without the busbars, which permit to have all the active area under the sunlight. And this permit to have higher efficiency, higher power conversion. Then, this is the rear side of our PV module. The dimensions are standard, so easy to install for our installer and also very safe and very reliable. The degradation is the lowest in the market, minus 0.35% with initial degradation of 1%. More than this, we have a very strong and reliable wafer, which is the substrate of our PV cell, patented, called the Tire wafer, which permit to have up to 16% of mechanical robustness. So this is our product. We have additional customized product which come very soon. I'd like to invite you to follow our web channel, which you will find more information about our product, our solution, and in the coming days also, you will find additional information regarding our latest products and latest innovations. So let's follow our communication channel and let's visit our longi.com. Thank you so much.
