Pylontech’s Force H3X Inverter Anchors Full ESS Lineup at Intersolar Europe 2026
Mathew Gibbs, Technical Manager at Pylontech, walks through the company's booth at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, covering residential, commercial and utility-scale battery storage systems on display. Gibbs goes through the specifications and installation details of each product shown.
Residential Storage: Force H3X and Fidus
The Force H3X is Pylontech's new all-in-one residential inverter, available in single-phase and three-phase versions. Single-phase configurations support up to four batteries. According to Gibbs, the unit integrates its BMS and PCS on top of the battery stack, which cuts down on cabling work and shortens installation time on site. For low-voltage residential deployments, Gibbs pointed to the Fidus and Fidus Pro. The Pro variant adds a heating element between cells for colder climates. Stackable to just under half a megawatt, the Fidus line can scale well beyond typical single-home capacity while still counting as a residential product.
"It comes with your BMS and your PCS on top, which means a lot less cabling on site and a much quicker installation overall." Gibbs · · 00:57
Commercial and Utility-Scale Systems
On the commercial side, Gibbs presented the ReefMagic, a 7.5 kWh battery module with the BMS mounted underneath. It's compatible with most inverters already in the market. Its Pro version includes heating foam between the cells, which Gibbs said suits colder operating environments. For utility applications, Pylontech's L6400 pairs with the M9 battery in a liquid-cooled configuration. Gibbs described it as one of the safest solutions on the market and said it's suited to deployments where speed and reliability matter most. He gave no further performance figures for this system.
"This solution is a liquid-cooled solution, so it is one of the safest in the market." Gibbs · · 01:12
Large-Format Integrated Solutions
The L520 Omni uses M7 batteries. Ten units combine for 520 kWh of usable power. Gibbs pointed out that the system's built-in PCS makes it self-contained, so it needs no external inverter or power conversion hardware to deploy. The A100HY Plus takes a different approach, pairing M1D batteries with an external PCS. Gibbs called it an upgrade over the earlier A100 system, built to be more slimline. That compactness, he said, makes installation and maintenance easier across a wider range of site conditions.
"It has a built-in PCS, so it's an all-in-one solution that doesn't need any external PCSs or inverters." Gibbs · · 02:16

Frequently asked questions
What makes the Force H3X different from previous Pylontech residential inverters?
Gibbs pointed out that the Force H3X integrates the BMS and PCS on top of the battery, cutting the cabling needed on site. It’s available in single-phase and three-phase versions, with up to four batteries supported in single-phase installations.
Is the L6400 utility system safe for large-scale deployments?
According to Gibbs, the L6400 uses a liquid-cooled M9 battery configuration, which he described as one of the safest solutions on the market. He said it’s suited to fast, reliable utility-scale deployment.
Can the ReefMagic battery work with inverters from other manufacturers?
Yes. Gibbs said the ReefMagic, a 7.5 kWh commercial module, is compatible with most other inverters in the market. Its Pro version adds heating foam between cells for colder environments.
How much power can the Fidus battery system scale to?
Gibbs said the Fidus line can stack up to just under half a megawatt of power. That covers both the standard Fidus and the heated Fidus Pro variant for cold conditions.
What is the usable capacity of the L520 Omni system?
Ten M7 batteries in the L520 Omni deliver 520 kWh of usable power, per Gibbs. The system has a built-in PCS, so no external inverter is required.
What improvements does the A100HY Plus offer over the original A100?
Gibbs described the A100HY Plus as a more slimline, compact upgrade of the A100 system. It uses M1D batteries with an external PCS and is designed for easier installation and maintenance.
