Hi everyone, this is Saif, senior consultant at EUPD Research, and we're here in beautiful Munich for The Smarter E 2026. I'm joined by Stefan Jachmann from Jackery. Hi. Stefan, welcome and thanks for taking the time to speak to us today. Saif, nice to meet you, and happy to have you here. Brilliant. Yeah. Short introduction to myself. Please do. Yeah. Yeah. My name is Stefan Jachmann, country sales director for DACH region from Jackery. So leading all the customers and demands on our German-speaking regions. Cool. At this venue. And you had two good days so far at The Smarter E, I guess? Very good days. Very busy days. Yeah. It's a great venue. Passed the Jackery booth a couple of times. It was buzzing. But obviously, renowned manufacturer. Tell us a little bit about Jackery maybe just to get us started. Yeah, totally fine. Jackery itself, it's a brand we founded in 2012, so we are now turned 14 years old. And we started as a manufacturer with battery products. The first four years for OEM producing for other companies, and since 2016, with our own brand called Jackery. Mm-hmm. So the main point we started, and most people know us about, is portable power stations. So everything to power outdoors, home and garden, off-grid scenarios. But nowadays, this shifted and we are going more to the home solutions. Mm-hmm. Later on, we have more details. Cool. Yeah. Looking forward to that. Plug-and-play sector's already becoming huge. Residential, of course, as well, so Jackery's adapting to the demand of the customers, right? To demand and to our vision. Cool. Okay. Yeah. Our vision to support power... People with clean energy whenever they need it, and to be more independent. Nice. So obviously, we're at The Smarter E in Europe here. Tell us a little bit about the European market for, of course, PV and storage from your own point of view. Of course. And then maybe give us some insights into which benefits Jackery can offer the market and of course, the customers. Yeah. Definitely the market is shifting all the time. So the last decade, the last 15 years, it is quickly shifting. And of course, we know all the PV installation rate and adoption rate was very high in different countries, so I will focus on German-speaking region. But across Europe, there was high installation rates and PV. And now we see, since some years, a shift towards not only producing the energy, but also to keep it and use it. Yeah. And this is where Jackery comes into play. So we want to shift our experience in producing reliable and security high-quality goods and outdoor products to home setup systems. Cool. And with the setup sets, our mission is to make it more easier for people, for homeowners, to access the energy they produce- Mm-hmm ... store it, and use it when they need it. So you're enabling prosumers to be part of the energy transition. To be part of it, to participate on, to benefit from, and to make it as easy as possible. With plug-and-play solutions also, but of course, with EPCs and installers, very important part, too. Sure. So that's great venue for this event here. Because everything is coming together like a gear, right? Sounds amazing. So tell us a little bit about where do you see Europe, the European markets, maybe focusing on your specific markets in the DACH region, but maybe Europe in general. Where is it moving? How will Jackery adapt to possible changes? From the sounds of it, you already have the vision, so maybe share that with us. Potentially, I already introduced a part of it. So the shift is pretty much clear that people not only want to be producers, but also prosumers, and use that energy and not wasting it to the public grid, but also covering their demands and energy needs. So there's a clear trend that people are going more for batteries. Many people have batteries, PV systems already in various scenarios. Some are adjusting to PV and getting used to with small systems or with rooftop installed systems. Mm-hmm. But everyone is very eagerly to go with storage as well. Yeah. So the whole trend is since energy products or batteries become more available, too, from the pricing and from the manufacturing side, so the access is more easy also. So the trend is quite clear. It doesn't matter the region, if it's France or Benelux or DACH region. Mm-hmm. So everyone is either retrofitting or setting up a system already with some kind of battery in either case. Yeah. Yeah, some interesting markets, of course. Different drivers, different ways to adapt to it, right? But I think the general message is, of course, prosumers want to be energy independent, right? They want to reduce their bills in times, of course, where things like that, electricity and gas and all of that, is becoming more expensive. Anything else you want to share with us? I'd love, of course, to know, and specifically our viewers, where can we get more information about Jackery, but is there maybe something else you want to share with us at the end? Yeah, of course. Just adding up to the talk right now. Of course, it's not only about people want to be energy independent, but also about the pricing. Sure. The last year, we had many energy crisis up and downs in the market. And of course, people want to be independent on the price side. But also, we have different regions across Europe with some outages or shortages in electricity energy. So people want to have more security in the end. It doesn't matter if it's financially or from the actual demand and coverage of their needs. So there's multiple reasons why people choosing PV systems or storages. From our background, of course, you can find any information on jackery.com. For German-speaking region, it's de.jackery.com. You can find our products. The key product we put on the InterSolar or Smarter E today and this whole week, of course, is a 26 model called Jackery Solar Volt 3 series. So this is our really... It's a third generation of plug-in battery we produced- Mm-hmm ... for private homeowners or apartments and the end consumers. So basically, it comes with three different versions. It's entry-level version. It's a professional version. Most likely a great fit also for EPCs and installers- Mm-hmm ... because it offers more power availability in input and output. But especially on the output part, installers come into play. And also, we have a solution with an AC connection only, so for different markets, different needs, and dynamic tariffs for, of course. So this is the core product of this year. And also we just, with the summer update today, released our software upgrade with the Jackery Arc AI. Mm-hmm. So it's not only about producing reliable hardware, and of course, we manufacture ourselves, so we have the plants and we have our engineers and R&Ds and testings. But also it's about how we use that energy stored and produced. And a normal energy management system is the very first starting point. Mm-hmm. But also it should be smart. And the Jackery Arc represents the brain of all that EMS system to make it not only for what you produce and what you need, but also generating forecasts on weather based on your historical consumer behavior. It comes with transparency mode, so we can look how the AI is doing its decision making. You can overwrite manually the decisions made by AI. Mm-hmm. So it's like to enable the consumers to have full control of it. Right. Yeah. And not to buy a product with a black box AI. Yeah. So this is like... So you're quite literally putting the power in the hands of the- Yeah ... consumers, right? Definitely. Cool. We want to enable people to have access to clean energy and to have control of it, to their demands. Brilliant. And I guess you're also on social media, like LinkedIn, so... Of course, LinkedIn. Yeah. Like socials, like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok. Brilliant. So of course, for our consumers. But for the business side, of course, LinkedIn is very important. Cool. And happy to see you. Happy to meet you. At Intersolar, if you're here, it's Motor E. Yeah. We're in Hall C, Hall C2, so. Right. Yeah. Happy to meet you. You've convinced me. Yeah. I'm sure you've convinced the audience. So check out jackery.com, go to their socials, connect with Stefan and his team, and let them know if you have any questions and if you want to be part of the energy transition. Thanks to you. Thanks to Jackery for being such an important part of the energy transition, and I'm really curious to see where the journey goes next. So thanks so much, Stefan. David, what a pleasure. Thanks for hosting us. Of course. So enjoy your evening. Enjoy. See you next time. Bye-bye.
